Who's getting Too Human?
« on: Aug 19, 2008, 06:04:42 PM »
I have a preorder and despite the fact that I'm hella broke I'm getting it Wednesday. Who's with me!?!

I loved the demo. Looks like a great game. Even if the camera was a bit dodgy.
What's so special about the cheesemakers?
Well, obviously it's not meant to be taken literally; it refers to any manufacturers of dairy products.

What Jesus fails to appreciate is that it's the meek who are the problem.

It's on my gamefly.

Same here, Demo un-sold me.

But hit me up for some co-op this weekend.

well, it's in the queue, goodness knows when I'll actually be getting it :P

I actually enjoyed the demo, but the reviews are here and there so I want to try it out first.

You didn't like the demo? I was unsure what to think prior to the demo but it was enough RPG/hack n' slash combo for me. I have it but I still haven't played it. Damn drunken karaoke.

I really didn't like the demo.  The controls felt really clunky and slow, and the menu system left a lot to be desired.  I also got bored of the game mechanics fairly quickly.  I can see how people might like the game, but it is definitely not for me.

Well I'll tell you what, I'm now listed at 70% of the way thru the game and I don't have 15 hours into it. How long has this game been in development? I'll be lucky to get 20 hours, it's just as bad as GoW except you get soldier classes.

Games are starting to piss me off. The last game that really blew my mind was Mass Effect. I played thru it 5x. This game is no where near as good. Good call on renting it, I should have done the same.

It's been in development for 3 years.  I have played many short games and felt liike I got my money's worth, though it seems to me(without playing TH) that the re-playability of this title may not be there.

Since when is 20 hours short anyway???

IMO you shouldn't be able (reasonably) to finish a game within 5 days of its release. I just go back to Mass Effect. That should be the benchmark for a RPG hybrid game like Too Human.

I think Mass Effect vs Too Human is a unfair comparison...

Too Human much more compares to Baulder's Gate(Xbox), Dungeuns and Dragons(Xbox), or Champions Of Norath(PS2). Mass Effect is way to open to be compared to TH
