I love Diablo games.. too bad it will be years before I invest in a computer capable of playing any computer game that has been released in the last 3 years.

you should check it out, the in game video they have now doesn't look like it will require anything that is considered high end as of now, which will probably at or below standard by the time d3 is released.

What do you mean? It isn't an MMORPG.

It does... but I likely can't run it.  So far, it reminds me of the Civ series... with each installment getting prettier and prettier but with nearly the same gameplay.

According to the wiki there will be a total of 5, they've only revealed 2.

Nearly, maybe.  But not really.  Civ IV has so many changes/advancements over its predecessors.  Especially with the Beyond the Sword expansion.  but at its core, yes, it is the same goal.

Also, the Diablo III gameplay video looks awesome.  I love that they are losing the potion belt instead using those shortcuts for skills.

I'd say not bad for being 3 days after the announcement.

hmmm.... witchdoctor seems to cover a lot of the same territory as the necromancer. I wonder if they cut the necro. Should be the amazon, sorcerer, and paladin, if there are five. The D2 Expansion classes didn't entirely work imo. The new ui looks like a big improvement, and the graphic and environment interaction looks great.

/sets aside money to buy that shit.

i agree with snarl, asn and druid not so great without party help but sorc barb zon pally could stand alone. I doubt the team will use sorc pally and zon but rather some form for all three similar to necro->shaman.

Okay, I'm confused. I played through Diablo I and II without a thought to what class I was.

It was pure hack and slash.

This already seems to borrow too much from WoW.

Same here.  All my gaming is now relegated to the xbox 360 and DS.  PC is strictly for internet, email, photos, making documents and such for school/work  :P

Never played wow but if you don't know that character class is a vital part of the diablo series you already suck at diablo 3.
