This excellent Showtime program follows the exploits of a serial killer who works for the Miami police department. http://www.sho.com/site/dexter/home.do

Season one is available on DVD, with season two due out next month.
If you still hold the same views now as you did in high school, you probably should reexamine those views.

I love Dexter.

Season 2 is far superior, Season 1 just had way too much atrocious acting for me to get into it.

Dexter is simply wonderful.  If I wasn't broke, I'd would be reading the book series. I'm looking forward to Season Three once its done.

Dexter is really, really great. And from some things I read here and there, it looks like the TV series is better than the books, which kinda took a turn to the supernatural after the first one.

I've never noticed anything the least bit supernatural in the series.

Have you read the third book yet? I think I found at least one place where I'd seen the mention that it had taken a turn to the supernatural side of things.

Whoa, that is some dramatic changes to the story line. In a dumbass sort of way.

I just finished Season 1 today!  Wonderful series, and I was totally taken in by the twist ending of who's who.

I only watched one episode fairly far in the series and was horribly confused, but it was quite good.  Seems more original than most of the stuff on tv now.

I only approve of three shows. and Dexter is certainly one of them.

I actually had a really, really hard time with season two. I won't give anything away for those who haven't seen it, but those who HAVE know who i'm referring to when I speak of.... her.

**ALMOST ruined the season. Luckily, everything else was so good that it more than compensated. (IMHO)

and I saw the first episode of season three on the internet... (yeah, yeah, don't worry, i'll buy it on dvd like the others anyway,) and so far, it looks great. Like, classic-monologuey-Dexter with donuts.
I have high expectations!!

And I bought the third book the other day, in fact, but I haven't started it yet.

Considering the first season was only *basically* similar to the first book, and the second season is NOTHING like the second book, I think I can safely assume the third book/season will be unrelated as well?
