I only watched one episode fairly far in the series and was horribly confused, but it was quite good.  Seems more original than most of the stuff on tv now.

Each season so far is one big story that runs the entire season. You really need to watch from the beginning to know what the hell is going on.

If you still hold the same views now as you did in high school, you probably should reexamine those views.

Motherfuckin' roly-poly, chubby-cheeked shit machine is a great turn of phrase. That it describes a baby makes it even better.

Indeed it does.  The writers are kinda showing their hands a bit early this season I think, unless the obvious turns out not to be so?  And I honestly hope the baby is not born; a baby would jump Dexter over the shark.

How unlucky is the fucking child molester that was taking pictures of Dexter's girlfriend's kid? I love this show but huge coincidences bother me. I know they happen but damn what are the chances? What are the chances that you and your brother grow up separately to be serial killers? How did he meet Dexter's sister?

Even a girl baby? I'm not afraid of this baby like a sitcom baby. I don't think it's a death knell.

As for the obvious that turns out not to be so, I can't think of what the obvious might be. But I am totally seeing attraction between Deb and Anton, and I'm not sure if I'm looking for it or if it's really there.

At the hospital for the guy whose legs he chopped off. But he was clearly just using Deb to get to Dexter, so he would have found a way to do it somehow. It probably wasn't too hard to get the victim to a place that the cops would be visiting and that he would have reason to frequent.

The actresses expression and glee in her voice made it a great moment.

Dexter knows what to look for.  Most people don't.

I can see that happening if both were in a room where their father chopped up their mother with a chainsaw and they had to watch?  Serial Killer chance = High.

Dexter uses the Jessica Fletcher/Hercules Poirot Universe Concept.

Be careful about reading this thread then, I've seen a couple of spoilers I think.

How did he meet Dexter's sister?

If you're talking about his Dexter's brother, didn't he get close to her to get close to Dexter? My memory might be failing me, though.

He went so far as to ask her to marry him...with a ring he got from a woman he just killed...ahhh Love.

Dexter taking the milk was hilarious.
