I was reading the post of Machine Girl and remembered Batoru Rowaiaru. I found it online, downloaded it and watched it again. Hard to describe actually how I feel about the movie so I wonder if others have seen it and what you think. This movie was apparently banned in a few countries not so much for the explicit violence but for the thought of who was doing the killing.

I thought it was terrible. I saw it at the Edinburgh Film Festival. I thought it was stupid, poorly made and cliched. Everybody else thought it was absolutely brilliant.... They were wrong of course.

Well stated. I thought the production values were poor and the acting worse. Also, the plot was certainly not inspiring or anything more than a message of kill or be killed.

The ending was hilarious though. Me and my wife were rolling around laughing while everybody seemed to take it very seriously. Very "deep" ending and all apparently.
