Errr, the Netherlands is pretty fucking large on that greenhouse emissions map.

As for the drinking age one: here in Dutchieland you can buy "soft liquor" (like beers) from 16 onwards, and "hard liquor" (like vodka) from 18, so there's no clear line.

Are you disputing the data on the bloated color map? Shame on you.

Same in Norway, but 18 for <22% and 20 for >22%.  :-\

Anything above 18 is ridiculous. I like Denmark, 16 on everything.

The further north you go the colder it gets, that means the more food you have to cold store or ship in because of the short growing season and the more money is spent on heating fuel and the more time is spent with the lights on covering for the lack of natural light. As I recall Canada uses more energy per capita than the US.

Edit: MAPS!

States matched to countries with a similar gdp. I live in iran

Awesome! I'm "Netherlands" now. Where do I sign up for my free, incredibly hot, cultured, tall, sexy, smart blonde woman? I do get one of those right, isn't that what its like living in Europe?

/love maps too

Does anyone else find it ironic that Minnesota is "Norway?"

What's so special about the cheesemakers?
Well, obviously it's not meant to be taken literally; it refers to any manufacturers of dairy products.

It can't be, California and Texas would have to be a lot bigger.
