Anyone ever read Ghastly's comic?

http://www.ghastlycomic.com/d/20010510.html

It's dead now, more or less, but there's some good stuff in there.  Dig long enough and there's a comic with god getting fucked by a tranny.

Schlock Mercenary is absolutely full of win.  The artist has gone from doing it as a hobby to quitting his job and doing it for a living.  Very high quality comedy space science fiction.

Massey: No, he needs to be left alone.  We can't fix any of this with violence.
Schlock: You're just afraid to use enough of it.
-----------------
Tagon: So what is it, gas?  Ice crystals?
Ennesby:  It's a melange.
Tagon: I didn't ask what colour it was!

Was that around the time when he decided to write about Lilah having a miscarriage? Or when he rebuilt Zeke for the 2nd time?

Oh my gawd, I'm so glad I stopped reading before that... Are you serious?  I stopped around the time of the pregnancy.

Yeah, that was terrible. Fortunately this admitted self-insertion crap arc is over now, so hopefully we'll get some funny again soon (yes, yes, I know, I kept reading even through the crap, so sue me).

I also read Dilbert semi-regularly.  I guess that's not really a webcomic, but it's a comic and it's on the web... sooo....

Live, Thread! Live !

I just reacquainted myself with this great comic that has a presence on the web and in print.

http://www.angryflower.com/archive.html

The really early ones (circa mid 90s) are a little rough (the humour and the art), but it just gets better and better.

Pour l'example:

Canada -Land of shitty music and bears.

Hell yeah! Bob the Angry flower is my top reference for the proper use of the apostrophe, to the chagrin of many infidels GRRR!

I think the Comic is centered out your way these days.  It started in the U of A Gateway newspaper in Edmonton, but I thought  I read that Notley moved to Seattle.

This one's good too:

Canada -Land of shitty music and bears.

This was the very first comic. I use it as a way a gauge people sometimes. It's mellowed out a bit since and gone a bit more contemplative.
