Alright a new ep of the Conspiracy Skeptic is now up. I interview the SGU board's own "astrostu" who has done a dynamite job of taking down 2012 on his blog. Stu is only 25, not even graduated, and he sometimes manages to out Phil Plait Phil Plait himself in his ability to bust down complex astronomy ideas into words BA holders like me can grok.

Stu knows his stuff.

I didn't even know this podcast existed.  I'll be sure to add it to my iTunes downloads:)

Indeed. Canadians tend to think of it, no doubt incorrectly, as "the deep south". Canadians bristle when Americans exhibit poor knowledge of Canadian geography and divisions but themselves generally fail to understand American divisions.

There is a difference between the "deep south" and the "southern states".

Deep South is generally only South Carolina, Georgia, Mississippi & Louisiana. Sometimes Texas and FL are thrown in.

But there is more to it than that.

As a completely independent observer/listener, I think this is a great episode of Conspiracy Skeptic, and everyone should listen to it!

Guys, great episode.

When I saw how long it was, I was a bit intimidated, nearly 2 hours! But the time just flew by.

Astrostu, keep up the good work. I think you've got a good future in explaining stuff to us lay folk.

mindme - another good interview. Keep em coming!

Invest in his career now. When 2011 rolls around Stu is going to be in demand.

Stu, you got student loans to pay off? Sell shares in future book and lecture revenues and use that to pay off your student loans.
