Topic: Why is podcast not appearing on Zune?

I have been unable to download th last two podcasts (186 187). The Zune site doesn't even list them. Anyone else having this problem? Any suggestions?

I downloaded them both with Zune.  Did you try unsubscribing and resubscribing?  Also, is your Zune software up to date?

I tried unsubscribing and my software is up to date. Still no luck.

That's weird, it worked fine for me too.

Never mind. I decided to ditch the Zune and get an Ipod.  I don't know how to delete this thread.

I'm having the same issue too. The Zune feed isn't updating, and I've tried unsubscribing and resubscribing, and it still ends at episode 185.

Make sure that the RSS feeds are the following

The Skeptics' Guide to the Universe
http://www.theskepticsguide.org/feed/rss.aspx?feed=sgu

The Skeptics' Guide 5x5
http://www.theskepticsguide.org/feed/rss.aspx?feed=5x5

The URLs for the feeds changed with the website and "instructions" for the new feed URLs were sent but depending on your podcatching software it may not have received or listened to those instructions. The fact that 185 is the last podcast tells me that Zune did not pick up the new URLs

Try unsubscribing and the resubscribing using the URLs above

I'm not sure how others are fixing this problem, but it took me a while to figure out how to update the RSS address.  Instead of trying to unsubscribe and subscribe again the traditional way, I went to my collection, then podcasts, then clicked the 'add a podcast' button at the bottom of my podcast list.  I pasted in the new URL (http://www.theskepticsguide.org/feed/rss.aspx?feed=sgu) and was downloading the new podcast in no time .
