This is a game started by Casper over at ILS, but I think it's a lot of fun, so I wanna start one here.

Basically I'll start by posting a picture of a location, and whoever guesses what and where it is first posts a new picture.

Make sure that if you post a picture you host it yourself with an nondescript file name, or find an image that already has a nondescript file name.

If you are 100% sure you are right go ahead and post your own pic, if not wait till the poster confirms.

I'm kinda surprised you haven't been there, Sordid.

The ceiling is actually what gives it away. There's a big clue in the ceiling.

Man, it's been like five years since I was last in a pub. :-\ It looks like one of the expensive, pseudo-historical pubs in the old city here that cater almost exclusively to the tourists, but which one it might be I have no idea.

I dunno, I suppose I generalize that other people feel the same way I do, but it's like a Mecca to me. :P

Is it in Germany?
I think I can make out some German on the walls and I see some oak leaves... maybe.
But really the decor could be anything from Medieval to Ottoman to American Southwest.

Hofbräuhaus, Munich, Germany. The Bavarian flag pattern on the ceiling and the fact that I've been there before helped a lot :D
