http://skepchick.org/skepticsguide is a directory. taking off the trailing / breaks the redirect which is located in /skepticsguide/.htaccess (ie. you should have been linking to
http://skepchick.org/skepticsguide/*something*) anything bookmarked to /skepticsguide/*something* will correctly forward to sguforums.com/*something*
This is why that doesn't work.
I have emailed Jay to fix it.
ETA:
Because skepticsguide is a directory, and because it is a seperated site, I did not redirect skepchick.org/skepticsguide because in the future, should a file called skepticsguide be uploaded that will be redirected to the forums upon request.
It is proper, then, to only redirect what was inside /skepticsguide/ once, which is what I did. If a link is broken it is because someone was calling the directory with no trailing slash, and that's improper.
