I'm a bit skeptical about the blue segment, although there might be some interesting implications, it is incorrect that there were no blue objects in the early history except in Egypt: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lapis_lazuli

Ancient Egyptians mined turquoise in Sinai while lapis lazuli, which is quite bluer than turquoise, was imported from Afghanistan.

They said it was always the last color. And blue can just be a shade of green if you unpracticed. Youre right that it was speculation, but they did say it was speculation.

Did they? I think they only said it was weird.

My objection is that they presented and supported the theory* with dubious facts and generalizations. I know they have limited time but it was not the first time they did that.

*why "blue" came last; I'm not saying it is necessarily wrong but it was presented in a superficial way

Wow. I remember the whole yellow rain thing. And the bit at the end about the lying ass friend. There's nothing weirder than being duped by a friend or significant other. After the lies all come out, you spend an inordinate amount of time becoming obsessed by trying to figure out what was real and what wasn't real.

Huh?  I don't rememebr that part.

Regarding the Yellow Rain story.  I really liked that the one host had the guts to say she was wrong in trying to uphold the lie of chemical warfare.  Good for him.  THe other host is a &$*#ing post-modernist and always pissed me off with his, "Everybody's right!" clap trap.

I found that really interesting and moving. I suppose I'd be upset when the interview unexpectantly turned too.

I did too. To us the bee pollen means quite a bit considering we made Sarin gas bombs directly in response to it. To them, they could give a fuck what it was. To them it was the death of their people that mattered. And if the yellow rain was a chemical agent that was killing people or it was a coincidence, it doesn't matter much to them. In either case lots of their people died.
