Loved the interview, Goudeau is always excellent.   Someone noted earlier that jugglers don't have to juggle dangerous things, just things that look dangerous.  I'm reasonably sure that chainsaws, machetes, and flaming torches more than just look dangerous.

I laughed out loud many, many times during the interview as I figured I would given the guest.  And the career strategy of 'showing up' is greatly underrated.

Also: video of a juggler knocking himself out with his props, cattleprod or other, would definitely be a viral video hit.

I can only laugh when I see arguments from "science???" about farm technology between townies and a farmer.  EE is correct on all counts.  Christ, there is no comparison between a battery operated prod and a mains powered fence.  One is like a cricket bat to the chest and the other a sandfly bite.  I was impressed that he left the chain on the saw whilst juggling... the brake will keep it from running, though, and I bet he ran it through sand.

I did like the interview.  Best one since Matthew Chapman.  You don't hear yanks take the piss out of themselves very often.

Thanks Jay. Drop a few good "Oh yeahs" in the coming eps and I'll put them on shuffle!
If anyone's going through the back-episodes now, lemme know if you find good ones for Rebecca, Bob, or Evan. Or perry.

That could even be worth faking....

I too would like to know what one eats for lunch in Sweden.

The buttons above were so cool I had to wait for my wife to come home from the supermarket so she could experience the awesomeness of it.

Or his opinion on vegetarianism.

WTN: I know it's been guessed, but bonus points for exact source?

It's Dara O'Briain talking to David Mitchell, about 47secs in:

The will NOT DROP a person immediately.

If they have a pacemaker or a bad heart.. .maybe. I don't know. But this juggler is obviously in good health if he is doing it every night.

Here is a little hint. Try it sopping wet.  Its not really a criticism of the original argument more than it is a criticism of your stupid anecdote.

I was sopping wet with sweat.

That includes salt... does that help?

Of course not. Of course its an anecdote. I can't go to every place and prove it to each individual. But if you would like I can see if I can find another one and do it on video like I did the water-boarding.

But then you would question that too.

Thanks, I hadn't seen that. I saw the show on BBC3 or 4, I'll have to get the DVD if this is in the extras if the commentary is David Mitchell and Dara. I thought the clip was from QI, because I remember Dara saying something similar about psychics on one of the shows I've seen him on.

Hey Evil Eye,

I was just wondering if you could clarify for me what exactly you are claiming about the effect of the stun guns in general?  Are you claiming that any stun gun has little to no effect even if given extended application time, or are you claiming that only dropping a stun gun onto yourself would have minimal effect, if any, due to the short time of application?  I am not criticizing your anecdotal experience with stun guns, just because it is anecdotal doesn't mean that it is incorrect by default.  But if I would like to know exactly what you are claiming before I make an ass of myself by correcting things I agree with.
