More Science or Fiction rotations among the Rogues.

Agreed.  The others do a decent job running the game and it's fun hearing Steve comoete with the others.  Same as with the the guest rogues; it's nice to hear some different thought processes attack the segment.

I would like a section where diverse claims made by different religions are analyzed, debunked and possibly made fun of, lol.
Not only by abrahamic religion which we are all familiar with, but also eastern religions and such, like buddhism, hinduism, jainism, or even moder, made up ones like scientology or rastafarianism.
Just my 2c.

Reasonable Doubts already does that.

how about removing the "dub-il-you dub-il-you dub-il-you dot" from the closing tag of the show?

it's two-thousand-and-twelve-in-the-year-of-our-lord... we all know how the internets work!

I have a suggestion to further spice up Jay's End Quote.  Make it two quotes, one from a skeptical POV - as now, then a quote on a similar theme from a famous/infamous Wingnut.  This will show the absurdity of the Wingnut even more.

If you mention 'POV' to Jay he'll probably think you're talking about porn

Am new here and it was suggested I post this thought here instead of in the intro your self thread:

I listen to the SGU podcasts when I can.  I wish they had chapter markers inserted so you could easily navigate to different sections, as I rarely can listen to a whole episode in one go.  The "Naked Astronomy" podcast from the UK does this and it's a really helpful feature.

No doubt it's been mentioned before, no idea if it's possible for SGU but it would be a really useful.

it would probably be something a fanatical listener could do in the episode thread (the way WTN is often noted)

I am no expert, but I don't see how someone posting in a forum thread can possibly add chapter markers to the files on my hard drive.

oh
I thought he meant

00:3 something short
01: news
30: interview
50: science or fiction.

I didn't know he needed home care to operate his computing devices so that they can skip-forward to the section he desires.
