ok, so I couldn't wait anymore...
...but there are still some glitches where you find yourself stuck in a wall and then have to go back to your last save point, which is annoying.

This bugs the shit out of me with ME1. Happens WAY too often. Was playing yesterday and an opponent I used lift on got suck in a wall, but was still alive so I couldn't complete the mission. Had to start over and it pissed me off. :P

yeah. it's so annoying.

so far I've only gotten stuck in a wall twice, but I'm still in the relatively early stages of the game.

luckily the only times its happened where I've used shockwave or lift and accidentally thrown someone into a wall they've been sticking out just enough where I can shoot them in the leg or something and kill them.

I got stuck on a tree root once.  How embarassing.  Trapped forever, to die of thirst or hunger 8 inches off of the ground.

was it on Freedom's Progress? I remember getting stuck on something (or perhaps nothing at all) on Freedom's Progress.

I also somehow managed to get tangled up in some sort of vines or wires which were dangling above me on the same planet. This was pretty fantastic considering that they were way above my head.. I literally just levitated into them, and it wasn't because someone launched a biotic attack against me, either...that was easily the weirdest glitch I've seen in either ME1 or ME2

Zaeed's mission actually.  It's  only happened once though, so I'm not too bothered :P

oh yeah, I finally just managed to download those add-ons, for some reason my Live account was being weird and it wouldn't let me download the two bonus missions and body armor which came with my collector's edition pack, I'm looking forward to playing them

Well I beat it 2 days ago just before I went to work.

Mordian and Tilly, or whatever her name is, died on me. Fuckin' pissed me off. What the hell? How am I supposed to keep them alive?

Anyways, it was a great game. I wished they would have included more "away team" missions, but quality is better than quantity *COUGH*ME1*COUGH* so I'm glad they had really good, well designed sexy looking standalone missions instead of creating the fuckin' generic "room with boxes and a staircase" missions they had in ME1.

To keep people alive, you need to make sure you do their loyalty missions and on the suicide mission pick people best suited for the job. Also, get all the ship upgrades (medical bay not included).

so what is everyone's strategy with scanning and probing planets? because personally I'm probing the shit out of every planet I come across, but its really time consuming. Despite that, it has allowed me to unlock tons of upgrades much sooner that I would otherwise be able to.

I started a new playthrough, You instantly get like 50k plat and lots of minerals so I just bought the med-bay upgrade for no reason.

how does one get the med-bay upgrade? if its like 50k platinum and it appears that I'm limited to only getting 25k of any mineral at one time it wouldn't seem possible

I mean, I'm just extrapolating the fact that when I had something like 24900 of platinum the bar on my scanner was just a hair's breadth from the limit, I've never actually gotten over 25k of any one mineral so maybe I'm just wrong?

Nah, don't worry about it. For some reason the designers set the bar to display increases up to 25 K but you can much much more. I was up to 250K + on palladium at the end of my game. I was hoping I could use the stuff somehow in the final mission (droid army anyone?) but alas, all that extra probing was for nothing.

fair enough, I thought that was weird and I figured I was wrong..

but still, that's a very arbitrary artificial limit to set.

same here.. after thoroughly probing only six planets I've managed to upgrade just about everything I needed and I haven't even finished gathering my team.
