Like I said, it's like chess. There's a lot more thought going into each play than what you see in most sports.
But, they still score more often than soccer or hockey. Last night the Saints scored three touchdowns and three field goals. Not counting the 2pt conversion or the two PATs...that's 6 scores. Colts were two TDs and an FG.
So, final score was 6-3 in any other sport.
If you want fast, furious action...watch basketball.
While soccer is probably the hardest sport to play at a professional level, I don't like watching it. I'd rather watch golf...and that's saying something.
Baseball is only fun if you're at the park, drinking a beer and eating a dog...chatting with your friends while the game plays on. On TV it's as dull as a bag of marbles.
Hockey kicks much ass. I don't care for it as much on TV because it's hard to follow. I don't have HD, so it might be better now and I just don't know about it.
I got caught up watching curling at the last winter Olympics. I don't know that it's a good sport...but it's the first time I'd ever seen it and I was mesmerized in a "what the fuck are they doing" kind of way.
