Current state law grants tax credits on productions considered "family friendly" - with no smoking, sex, nudity or profane language.

My first thought was to give this a  :bang:, but at this point it really just warrents a long, exhasperated sigh... :-\

Is a married hetero couple that chooses to not have children considered "traditional" family?

I agree with this.

I mean... granted, I think shows with heterosexuals and bisexuals and any anything should be excluded because there shouldn't be a tax credit... but anybody who isn't libertarian in nature will take a chance to say your a bigot! (This happened a lot in Ron Paul's campaign)

Wait... why did I go on that rant? Yeah, this guy is a tool. :(

Meh, I wouldn't worry about this.  I don't think it will pass -- it's making the news because it's such a ridiculously outrageous proposition.  And, I'm guessing this Republican lives in a heavily conservative district, who probably support this bigotry.  But, I'm betting it gets no farther than just being a proposal.

The proposal by Republican Rep. Stephen Precourt of Orlando would increase the credit and expand the field of disqualified productions as those that include any "exhibit or implied act" of nontraditional family values and gratuitous violence.

"Nontraditional family values"?? Well, that's a little vague, isn't it?

No nudity, sex, smoking or foul language?  I haven't seen a movie produced outside of Disney Studios that would actually pass this.
