Hey there,

I'm working a future web comic of the name Legacy Awry. We recently got an artist we're happy with and have something to show.

It explores the issues and sacrifices of hero'ing. It has mostly realistic martial arts. Ki blast mostly obeying physics. It has ninjas, aliens, meks, ghosts, costume super heros, and some magic thrown in for good measure.

We have a finite story, ending with a brawl to the death between the main characters as one has lost themselves in his quest for hero'ing.

Hero Saga: This is scene construction for the first part of the comic, introducing the main characters and having the always needed martial tourney, ending with a spectacular fight, and two ninja plots as well as a mysterious large man in a bowler hat.  This outline is mostly de facto done.

Invasion Saga: Here we learn the back story of Kyle, as he was beaten into a coma at the end of the Hero saga, as he relives his life. The Earth is sending away as much as its civilian population off of the planet as an alien invasion is about to commence from the Cryslad Confederation. The aliens get rebuffed, though far from being defeated though not before one of the main characters get his eyes burned and blinded.  We discover that one of the hero is not exactly human. This is still a being worked on.

This is a concept work for Kyle. The face isn't right but the body and posture shouldn't  He kicks a lot of ass as himself and his costume superhero persona. He'll eventually lose his left hand, start up his martial art school to save his style, since he is the only practitioner left. He also does it to scout for the next generation of heros in the youth.

The main character reminds me a bit of Spike from Cowboy Bebop (I'm a casual newbie to anime/manga btw). Anyway, looks interesting and looking forward to hear more about this.

Well we don't have power armor, but the Meks as they stand now will look like pilotable ED-209 from robocop.

I can see how Kyle looks like Spike. Though Kyle has dirty blonde hair. The Invasion linked has been updated somewhat with an expansion on Kyle girlfriend. She no longer dies.

I think it's fine as long as you don't stuff them into a refrigerator.
