Now that GW is out of the way, we can go back to the important things.
Arguing with each other about our musical and literary tastes?

Yes.  Wheel of Time sucks.

People who want to vent about this issue where to go  ;)

It's not like anything gets resolved in these threads anyway...

Well, a lot of times, like this one, it comes down to "I don't like it how it is" / "But there are reasons why it is the way it is" / "Well, I don't like those reasons" ... and seriously, how can a situation like that get resolved?

To be clear I was referring to GW threads, which tend to boil down to "you stupid [denier/alarmist] back to your hole." Whereas this topic has endless possibilities.

Besides, these decisions are why moderators made the big bucks.

It is valuable for the forum to have active posters with a broad range of opinions and that forum members be able to express themselves in any manner that they choose within the parameters of other forum rules and limitations.

GW having its own members-only board is the best way to meet the needs of the posters, the Panel, and the general tone of the board.

any good thing therefore that I can do, or any kindness that I can show to any fellow creature, let me do it now;
let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.

I eat caviar every night simply because I don't know what else to do with the money that I'm making from this volunteer position. I think TLV, Karyn and Beleth have all retired due to the vast amounts of dough they've made.
