the Boston Red Sox were the last Major League team to "integrate". In some of their marketing materials they tout the fact that they gave a try out to Jackie Robinson before the Brooklyn Dodgers, but they neglect to mention that the try out was forced upon them by a progressive Boston City Council member who threatened to sanction them if they did not, and despite attendance at the try out being restricted to select members of the Boston press, Red Sox ownership and management, and a few community leaders, Robinson was subjected to racial epithets and taunting from the small group of onlookers in the stands.

I'm pretty sure the Santorum family got it's name as a result of having been willing to engage in sex acts that resulted in spilled Santorum back when they were prostitutes in the middle ages. I guess this means Nick Santorum's career hasn't changed much from that of his ancestors.

Well, technically, a fact that is wrong would be useless, and it's Useless Facts, so I'd say it's all in good fun.

But yeah, you're right.

Wal-Mart's off-brand for Dr. Pepper is called DR. THUNDER!!!

EDIT:  I looked all over the internet for a picture of Thor wearing a stethoscope, but I couldn't find one.
