Likely 100% of this forum dont understand/care, but today its ranting time! Mainly its a rant about Aperture and its sucking. Comparison photos between raw converters here

The Aperture team will look at it and see what can be done. Keep in mind that RAW formats are proprietary and the camera companies don't share the details with us, so we have to reverse engineer them ourselves, and it's tricky. Also keep in mind that Preview and Aperture are probably showing you 2 different things, and that's why one looks like you want and one doesn't. I can't speak to Adobe's or anyone else's software.

What part of apple do you work for now...?
Preview does indeed have the bug, but to a much less severe extent. Mainly leading me to thing that the bulk of the issue is specifically with apple camera raw.

I work for ProApps. I worked on Aperture 1.0 and still occasionally do a tiny amount of work with them, but mainly work on Final Cut Studio these days.
