Skeptical Seamstress
« on: Aug 18, 2010, 06:25:54 PM »
I've been sewing off and on since I graduated from high school.  In the past 6 months I started sewing for myself.  This thread will be for whatever I sew that I want to share.  If you have negative comments please go to another thread.  Thanks.

Blue 1950's inspired dress.  Made yesterday.  With petticoat 6"x75 yards of fabric made Sunday.  I haven't found shoes yet but am thinking slingbacks.

Yes it has pockets!

Those are great dresses, funda.

And I'm totally jealous of your ability to sew. It's one of those skills I wish I had, but haven't mustered the willpower to learn.

I mean, jeez, I can totally buy my clothes, why should I learn to sew? :P

Funda62, your husband is a lucky, lucky man. You make both dresses look VERY good.

Notice how she avoids the question.
Probably because she thought you knew she was modeling her own clothes.

Oh, well. Don't she live on a military base in 韓国?

New outfit.  Embroidered jean skirt and knit blouse.  I'm not thrilled with the fit of either.  Both need a bit of work still.
