A piece of video art I and a partner did for this artist, Jordan Wolfson, got reviewed in the NY Times. Neat. And it got bought (but not put on display) by the Tate in London. Whatever, I dunno how that works. Still neat.

This is another review that actually has pictures and includes my name, so I'll link this instead.

Heh. Thanks a lot, Albuquerque.

Here is a birthday present I made for my mom. She is Vegan and 60.

Such a good son!  Your mama must be kvelling!  That is a really wonderful piece of graphic fresh salad...I'm trying not to anthropomorphize that potato.  You should update this thread more often, sir.

Also, you reminded me that I hadn't posted my own mom's birthday present.

I use Flash to draw and 2D animate. I can't recommend it.
I always wanted to try something called Manga Studio...

Here's a commercial I worked on... it won an AICP and some other award... for Animation (which is the part I'm responsible for).
Nice realistic motion, well-researched... Me and a small team of animators (3 and a half) really put the time in on this one. Pretty proud o' that.

Transformanatee??

Seriously cool stuff, Henning. The smile-umbrella comic made me lol. I look forward to seeing more!

I hate Henning! Really I want all of it, even the hallmark commercial!

Did some figure drawing tonight, for the first time since my foundational year in college (12 years)...
I didn't feel rusty! I'm really excited to draw again for real!

You animators and your blue pencil. Looks like a storyboard.   :P

I used to thoroughly enjoy figure drawing classes - a well-drawn figure sketch makes you feel like Da Vinci or Michelangelo.
Nice work btw Henning. You have good angles and proportions.

I just published this long-time nights and weekends personal/experimental animation project.
Maybe there are some math people or space people here who will enjoy it...
