Science Based Alchemy - a new skeptical WoW guild!

Funkytown:
Hey everyone! We've been discussing it for a while, and it is finally here! We've created a new guild in the World of Warcraft called <Science Based Alchemy>!
We are on the Terokkar - US server, Horde side.

The guild is focused on science, skepticism, and critical thinking. I'd love to tell you all about it, but I'll just paste the recruitment message that I made up for the WoW forums.

We're just starting out and we're going to keep growing and growing.

Check out the website at http://sciencebasedalchemy.guildportal.com for some more info too. The guild charter is there.

--- Quote ---Do you have your TV tuned to the science channel 90% of the day? Does the idea of a star trek communicator style cell phone make your heart melt? Every time your mother said, "because I said so" did you have to bite your tongue to keep from reminding her that, that's a logical fallacy?

Then this just might be the guild for you!

Science Based Alchemy is a new Horde guild on the Terokkar server. We have the goal of bringing together like-minded people who are interested in science, skepticism, and critical thinking. We are a casual guild who all want to be part of a fun group who are interested in the geeky side of life like nano-science, space travel, medicine, pseudoscience, computers, and anything pretty much anything else you can think of.

We are looking for fun and mature people who like playing World of Warcraft, candlelit dinners, and taking long walks on the beach. But serioiusly... if you enjoy the game, and you enjoy guild community... give us a shout. We'd love to have you.

If you want to learn more you can visit our website at http://sciencebasedalchemy.guildportal.com Read our charter, and apply on the website.
Also feel free to contact me (Funkdoctor, Funkytown, or Avaleinia) in game if you have any questions.

We look forward to geeking out with you in Azeroth.

We're having a good ole time talking skepticism and WoWeconomics.  Come one and give it a try... if you've never played or haven't played in a while, no worries, we can help :)

To avoid any misunderstanding, I think it should be mentioned that the guild is on a US realm. :foxnews:

Thank you, that's an excellent point.

I need to start registering my alt's. I rarely play my main and that's the only one that’s singed up. It also doesn’t’ help that have ADD about character play and have a hard time sticking with any one long enough to end game it. This past weekend I just created a druid and spent all weekend on it.
