Heh, thanks, DK, buddy.

Yes, I do work too hard and spend too much time in my office and don't take enough time off. But today I haven't been working on work. I've been tidying and cleaning and clearing out. My office is tiny, so it doesn't take much for the clutter to start closing in on me, and that really affects my state of mind. It's disheartening as hell to look across a buried desk at a messy shelf unit, and it sucks to open the door in the morning and see mayhem. Y'know?
Makes more sense to do this on a weekend, because I can crank up the tunes and throw stuff out in the hallway, and I won't be interrupted by any actual work.
I still need to go through some file drawers, but I'm tired, and all the visible surfaces are now clean and tidy. I can do the drawers during the workday. Now I just gotta take all of this stuff to the recycling drop-off center, and then I promise to stay home and relax/putter around tomorrow.

And I have some fun planned for the coming week, too.
