I was expecting that to be corny, but it was actually pretty good.  That guy is good and this metal version is awesome!

Yeah this is one of the only people I have seen on youtube that Iwould consider buying music from, he is amazingly talented.

Sometimes with solos like this i have to pause in the middle to take a breath before continuing to listen.

Might not be quite obscure enough, but I like some of Buckethead's stuff. He's technically stunning, but has an eccentric style to his playing, which I think sets him apart from some of the other more soulless, boring shredders.
