I don't get it.   :-\

It's a cool model of the Enterprise, and it is also a cool submarine... but why is it both a cool model of the Enterprise and a cool submarine?  The two don't really go together, do they?
Star Trek has a strong nautical theme, and that's really the only way you can get the model to move in three dimensions without adding propellers or something (which would look ridiculous, I think) or actually putting it in space.

Star Trek's nautical themes are more closely related to 18th and 19th century surface ships than to submarines.

While I appreciate that a RC submarine moves more like a starship than an RC airplane would, the fact remains... it's underwater!  the only way you can appreciate it would be to have a huge pool and an underwater camera!
I'd buy it if I were a rich Trekkie. It seems like it would be a good ice breaker at parties.

I'd get a big aquarium, program it into a fixed loop, and have it hang out with the wierdest, most alien-looking fish I could find.

Something like that?

Yeah, or this guy.  Though he's an amphibian, not a fish.

Why are the galaxies all spread in a cone? Cause they are blocked by the Milky Way?

Given the fact that everything is moving away from the Big Bang at the beginning of the universe, you reach a point where the relative speed of you and other objects is so close to the speed of light that you wouldn't see anything broadcast from there between the beginning and now. I'm pretty sure that's why it's shaped the way that it is. I am no astrophysicist though.
