I've got somewhat bored of the game recently. I find the options fairly limited in survival mode. Maybe I'm just frustrated after I carved out an awesome tower complex, that was meant to be partially underwater and when I wanted to let the water in the artificial lake I realised that water physics don't really work.
There's, another example. See, here I'm now sitting by myself, uh, er, talking to myself. That's, that's chaos.

Ya water physics are not really in existence so much.

I haven't played in a while but I don't mind.  It'll be something I go back to a few times a year for a long time, probably.

I was playing the survival mode for quite bit and now I'm bored. I keep dieing and I can't find any gold, mining hours on end. To be honest I just want to build crazy castles and structures, which is why I think someone should start an SGU server. I don't have the know-how to start a server, but I'd be more happy to help if anyone were to.

Otherwise, I'm just going to geek out at the structures from online maps.

Set the difficulty to easy and you'll stop dying.

if you get bored, try out the redstone circuits :P
just started using it, and made this awesome 10x10 sandtrap (floor drops down a soon as you step off a preset path).
only problem is, dropping a few thousand blocks of sand lags the game  just a tad......... also a lot of work to rebuild

This is the game I've been playing more than anything else the past few months. I don't really care for the single player I spend almost all my time on multi player just building all the random stuff I can think of and at the moment I'm building a Tudor style village and ended up starting to build a gigantic cathedral (I have a fondness for Gothic architecture). I can't speak for other people but the thing I enjoy about it is being able to create things and seeing other people's creations.

I love it. Great for occupying myself while listening to podcasts/audiobooks.

Started with a hidey hole in the side of a hill. Expanded that to have a bed/panic room and workspace, then dug deeper into the hill and mined all the way to bedrock. Added a room (foyer) in front of my entrance with another door so even a creeper explosion on my doorstep wouldn't blow my home wide open. Added a side door (with foyer) that walks right out onto the beach. Encased the clearing outside my door in glass to make a greenhouse wheat farm that includes a stairway up to the top of the hill I'm dug into and a exit from the greenhouse onto the stairs, then built a second greenhouse connected to it off to the side to grow trees and harvest the animals that spawn inside. I don't really even need to go outside now but with my bow and diamond sword going outside isn't a big deal anymore.

Has anyone used Minecrafted the iPhone app?  I'm trying to tinker with it a bit, but cant seem to connect to a server. Let me know if you've used it at all.

I don't get it. It is a pixelly-looking game where you build with blocks?
