Can't believe they didn't mention the skeptical penis inspector thing with Karyn. I'll probably never misspell your name again Karyn with a y.

how about TORTURE! (religious, military, political, psychopathic... there must be some gruesome stories and techniques and such out there. - are modern techniques scientifically informed? does psychological torment count (like forcing prisoners to stay awake for long periods). maybe the guest you guys once had on to talk about the Old Testament would have something interesting to say about Saint Augustine's support of torture.  I'm sure there's plenty of laughs to be had.)

ooh, and self-harm (using salt+ice to burn the skin, pulling off finger-nails, it ain't just 'cutters' ... maybe that's a bit too light-hearted after the 'self-surgery' episode, though.). maybe if it was thrown in with a suicide topic it could work--all the worst ways to go, ways that failed, etc.

As you said, we've done self-surgery but we have self-mutilation on the Big List of Topics, and torture too. The next episodes to come out will be as follows: Follow Ups 2 (with special guest BANKS!); Blood (with the return of Dr Rob); Slavery (our most depressing episode yet IMO); and Killer Robots. Subject to change without notice, some restrictions apply. - Toren

Cancer, the types that basically mean you have a few weeks or months to live (renal cell carcinoma, pancreatic cancer), the types you can have for decades (some prostatic cancers, multiple myeloma/MGUS and  carcinoid tumours), and the various treatments past and present.

The doctor you had on for radiation will probably be a good guest again for this episode.

Agreed. We talked a bit about blood cancer on the "Blood" episode, coming out in 2 weeks, but I think a full Cancer episode is a great idea.

I listened to the poo episode on the way home from work today, very hard to keep a straight face.

I've got through maybe 15 episodes, all excellent so far.

Finished the poo episode this morning.
Prior to that I was quite hungry, but the story on the Poop, Wiz and Chuck attack made me gag.

Looks like 100% of voters, ok there are only four, picked Jehovah show. How about another religious theme? Joseph Smith is ripe for the picking.

Because of this thread I started listening a couple weeks ago.  I'm up to episode 5 I think.  I'll have to abstain from voting for a while.

How does one become an authority on "real life zombies"?

I am glad I noticed this thread.
I have listened to a couple episodes now and this podcast is pretty effing fantastic.
