Great topic.  I had never heard of her before.  It is amazing how people think that we live in a more dangerous world today than it was back then.  Back then being any time before now.
Nobody these days holds the written word in such high esteem as police states do.  What statistic allows one to identify the Nations where Literature enjoys true consideration better than the sums appropriated for controlling and suppressing it.

Great topic.  I had never heard of her before.

I had. When I heard the bathing in blood part I did the math too and immediately filed that bit under "improbable".

Great topic.  I had never heard of her before.

I had. When I heard the bathing in blood part I did the math too and immediately filed that bit under "improbable".

bathe
1. to immerse (all or part of the body) in water or some other liquid, for cleansing, refreshment, etc.
2. to wet; wash.
3. to moisten or suffuse with any liquid.
4. to apply water or other liquid to, with a sponge, cloth, etc.: to bathe a wound.

'bathing' doesn't have to mean being submerged

if you're hard up in the army you might have nothing but a mess kit of soapy water to bathe the essentials with. ... it still counts. (so...if you have sex when she's on the rag...you might be able to say you've bathed in blood!)

Well that was one sick lady. Amazed she got away with it for so long, and wtf is with those conspiracy nuts "oh yeah there were 300 witnesses but 500 years later I just know they were all on the take"?

(Going one episode back, here). What are the odds, I had just started replaying Baldur's Gate the day before I listened to the "Sibling Rivalry" episode, where they briefly mentioned the game.

... Not a very impressive coincidence, but nonetheless.

Yeah, what are the odds that a nerd would be a listener of Caustic Soda and also play Baldur's Gate? ;)
