Guys,  I have an idea that maybe someone can help with.  I like the graphic of an astronaut.  I was thinking it would be cool to alter this image or one like it to show the guy holding an SGU flag.  Id like a version for a t-shirt and one for print.  I think the t-shirt one might look better if it were a line drawing.  What do you think?

Henning you crazy bastard we don't have a flag yet :)  Whatever you think looks cool.  Miisa - I like the mock-up you made.  It would be cool for the flag to have a wavy look as if it were real.

Yeah, I don't have the time to learn the mad Photoshop skills needed to get it to look authentic, but surely there are some ready-trained wiz's out there?

BTW, I originally made the astronaut for a T-shirt about the one epic theoretical battle I have yet to hear you guys ponder:

Well, it's not what you asked for and it doesn't have a flag, but here ya go.
The line work needs to be made consistent and the lettering needs to be nicer.... which I will do if you want to make a tShirt.

Yes - we do not want to copy the MTV image. It has to be distinct from that.

I like your drawing of the astronaut. However, "your escape to reality" is good for existing listeners, but won't help spread the word. We would prefer to work in the name of the show also.

Steve, how bout the floaty astronaut just has the name of the show under him?


Or...
Eye-catching graphic on the front: astronaut with slogan... and then call to action on the back: "Listen to the Skeptics Guide to the Universe".


I think it looks awkward and potentially illegible if you try and cram it all into a flag.

I thought I'd have crack at this, I was trying to practice the flag waving effect and got this image

but i think it looks more like a paper crumpled effect... damn the moon and its ever present atmosphere filled with wind.... wait thats not right.
