I don't see the problem with the new suit. And, iirc, Spider-Man had the mechanical web-shooters and the built-in web-shooters, so neither is breaking canon. The only thing that the other Spidey films did that broke canon was not kill Gwen Stacey.
Spidey always had the mechanical webshooters that he invented. I was fine with the movie making them part of his superpowers (let's face it, that's a lot more believable than a high school kid suddenly inventing them!) In the Ultimate Spidey universe, I believe he used a secret formula invented by his uncle or something.
In any case, I'm not making any judgments about the movie based on the snapshots. I
love the movie title; huge mistake going with the Spidey 2, etc titles in the original movies, IMO. Spidey movies should be like James Bond movies. They can replace the actors playing specific parts and keep the movies going; loosely connected, but not true "sequels". And, yes, they need to do the Gwen Stacy dying story line. No need to make the movie otherwise dark like the Batman flicks, especially since Spidey has always been a more lighthearted character.
