I could pitch in a part. Since drums, bass and guitar are already covered, the only thing I have left to offer is some obnoxious noise from my circuit bent toys and keyboards that many wouldn't consider musical. Screw those people, by the way.

Just give me whatever part is left over.

Why don't you get it started here with section 1?

Just saw this thread. Unless I missed something in how to claim a section, I'll take Section 4 (25-32) (1:08-1:31).

If someone who has been on board with this project for longer had that in mind (I read through the thread and didn't see), I'll take section 3.

I'm thinking it'll either be vibraphone or marimba (on a malletkat), lap steel, or weird harmonized vocal stuff.

I have the long mix synced up in Logic right now, so I'll try to get this finished tomorrow.

I suppose I could look through again and see what format (mp3 or wav) and where to send, etc. I can just post it to be downloaded. Or do I upload it to the soundcloud page?

Thanks...

Hey RS.

I don't think it's dead yet. Mike has his bits done and I'm working on stuff too.
If you want to do more than one section, that's fine by me.

Did we end up getting the bass track done?

Ugg. I've been meaning to work on this. I've got a little thing put down already, but the end of the semester is here, which means I haven't had time to make it worth listening to yet. Please somebody let me know if the whole thing ends up waiting on my part or something, then I'll just send the parts I have and let you guys figure out what to do with it. In a month or so I'll have more time.

I'm easily distracted...

There are at least three guitar restorations in various stages of completion.

Finished mine... this is measure 25-32. Had fun with it! Let me know if you need me to do any more. Good work on the base file... this is worth finishing!!

Here's the wav - it starts right on the downbeat of bar 25, so it'll line up easily.

Ah sweet, I'll check it out when I get home.
Just do any section you feel like, I think I might add some stuff tonight.
We'll see if my aspirations at 10am are up to my motivation come 6pm.

Is this thing still going? Did you finish the song? If you´re doing anything in future, count me in. I play electric guitar and soft synths, samplers, drum machines etc. Could even do vocals at a push, but my mike is possibly not suitable for that.

MikeNH dropped off the radar for a while, but I'm happy to keep going.
