i think its really easy to call him irrationally anti-nuclear when we now live in a world that doesnt have even close to the same death's head looming over it.
That's a good point.
By "irrationally anti-nuclear" I mean he was anti nuclear
power, not nuclear weapons. Also, I am old enough that I was an adult when the col war was still going on, so don't give me that "death head" bullshit -- most people were
not going around worried that a nuclear war was going to start any second.
But the point is, Carl Sagan held many views that were crazy-liberal that had nothing to do with atheism.
