I didn't want to start another thread just to say this so I thought it best to just do so here.

Demon Haunted World Kindle edition released July 6th. Yay!

I've been meaning to read this and now I shall.

See, this is why I'm pissed at Kindle; you can pay 13 dollars for a digital copy, or you can buy a perfectly good hardcover at a used book store for 5$.

That's great, if you can find it, and you want a hard back copy. Not so great if your local stores don't have it or you want a digital copy.

i think its really easy to call him irrationally anti-nuclear when we now live in a world that doesnt have even close to the same death's head looming over it.

That's a good point.
Strange women lying in ponds distributin' swords is no basis for a system of government.

By "irrationally anti-nuclear" I mean he was anti nuclear power, not nuclear weapons.  Also, I am old enough that I was an adult when the col war was still going on, so don't give me that "death head" bullshit -- most people were not going around worried that a nuclear war was going to start any second.

But the point is, Carl Sagan held many views that were crazy-liberal that had nothing to do with atheism.
