I was so nervous that I was shaking. Seriously. All I could really think was "Shit, thousands of people are going to hear me sound stupid." The fact that you can't tell is a tribute to Steve's editing skills.
For the record, I have the opposite problem when I'm drunk. I don't care how stupid I sound, but whatever I'm saying IS VERY IMPORTANT AND EVERYONE NEEDS TO LISTEN TO ME.
If I do become a teacher, my classes will probably be slightly insane.
