Scam filter?

That's pretty good.

I don't like it myself, doesn't really have any zazz to it, too literal. Something a little sillier with more charm.

What about "Oh yeah!" (in that typically Jay voice)

I like "Oh yeah!"

In terms of something sillier, I was thinking something involving "Scamalot"

Scambags Who said that? :)

Calling George Hrab! Theme song needed!
If one is going to be ignorant, then one may as well make a thorough and studied job of it.

"Are you being scammed?"

"To good to be true."

"The 4-1-9 report" (ref to the Nigerian money scam for those who don't know - obtaining money by deception) my personal preference.

"Too good to be true"
 - True + 1.
 - Greater than true

"Can you believe" - that anyone fell for that.

"Did you hear the one about..." (depending on how long the segment will be...)
"If you don't like the theory of evolution you should probably skip the practical".

I'm picturing this song:

Witch Doctor - Ooh Eeh Ooh Ah Aah Ting Tang Walla Walla Bing

But replacing "Ooh Eeh Ooh Ah Aah, Ting Tang, walla-walla bing bang" with "Ooh Eeh Ooh Oh yeah!, Oh yeah!, scam-a-lama-ding-dong!"  ;D

This person has won the internet. Seriously though, even if it's not the name of the segment, Jay needs to say this on the podcast.
"How long have they been here?"
"As long as there's been something in the corner of your eye, creaking in your house or voices through a wall..."

This isn't relevant, but Doctor Who is awesome and the new season opening episode was AWESOME.

I liked "wait wait don't scam me", "Scamboozled" and "Don't scam me bro". We need something that's three words or less, though.

Scammed Alive
Scamhole
To Catch a Con (has this been suggested? I feel like it has...)
Jay flies over a cuckoo's nest (Jk, too long, but had to post it anyway)
Swindler's List
Hornswaggl'd
The Purloined Segment
Pilfer Me This
Dodge and Dodger
The Cribbing Game
Buffalo'd Girls

Ok, that's enough bad puns for now.

But they're (mostly) good bad puns.  ;D

I try. :)

I was thinking of adding Con Air to that list... but that's too bad even for me. :D

Scam filter?

I like.

"Jay Novella: Baloney Detector"

I like this one too or maybe change Detector to Detective like "Jay Novella: Baloney Detective"  and add some Dragnet music in the background.

You could do a dramatic intro to the bit like the old Dragnet Show.
