Bridesmaids



I'd give it a 7/10.

Had a decent amount of laughs. 
Though, it was nowhere near as gross/risque as I heard it was.

I give it 8 for FX
5 for story. (too many movies have a similar ending).
3 for mind bendingness. (It weren't that hard to follow).

The Last Exorcism - 8/10. Weird movie produced by Eli Roth. It's an interesting take on the whole exorcism meme. I definitely recommend it to any horror fans. However, I foresee a time when "found footage" style filming becomes incredibly stale. It is not that time yet.

My buddy saw it and hated the ending.  I watched it and thought the ending was relatively clever.  Overall, I definitely enjoyed the flick.

The Conspirator

8.5/10

I really enjoyed the dialogue and story. However, for a courtroom drama type, I'd rather watch 12 Angry Men or the movie about the monkey trial (can't remember the name).

In Bruges, 7 out 10. I liked it, it was fun but would have been better without Colin Farrell. There were a few scene’s in the beginning where his acting is painfully bad. Clémence Poésy was awesome and rwar!

I sort of liked that movie, but.. I don't know.. at the end I just wound up hating Colin Farrell and wanting him to die for what he did.

Food, Inc. - 6.5/10.  A bit too pro-organic propaganda for my tastes.  I agreed with a lot of what they said, but what they left out was even more telling.  I just get frustrated with obviously biased material, even when I agree with most of it.  It wasn't nearly as bad as the stuff Michael Moore puts out.  Also, if you've read Fast Food Nation and An Omnivore's Dilemma, you've pretty much seen the documentary.

True Grit (2010).

8/10.

Bridges kicked ass as Rooster and the generally the dialog and acting was far better that the 1969 John Wayne version.

However it actually doesn't follow the Portis novel as closely as the 1969 version, and the novel is a true classic.

But it is certainly with a rent and by all mean watch on the biggest screen you can (50 inches, baby 50 inches!)

Great action movie, but the best part was the soundtrack.


Saw this a few weeks ago and totally agree.  Visuals were great too though like when the guy came out of the train station and all the pictures of eyes all over.  Really enjoyed the entire movie.
