Seconded. Well, not the second half, as it won't be Community any more. Sony got rid of Dan Harmon and most, of not all of the writers are also gone. They didn't like that it was becoming too "esoteric". Prepare for a soulless Big Bang Theory knockoff fourth season. (I wonder what will happen with the other two seasons and the movie :) )
There's, another example. See, here I'm now sitting by myself, uh, er, talking to myself. That's, that's chaos.

(Un)Fortunately it only got renewed for a half "we're only doing this to keep the raving fanboys at bay" season like Fifty Rock and Parks and Rec got. Although with Dan Harmon on board we probably wouldn't of gotten the start of the season lull that each season has, and gone straight into doing the "Remedial Chaos Theory", "Modern Warfare", etc type episodes, with him out of the picture we're probably going to at best have stuff like the first 5 or 6 episodes of season 3.

Worst of all, I suspect the canning of Dan Harmon had to do with keeping Chevy Chase. Even though his contract was up, regardless Dan Harmon has a 1/10th ownership of the show. But they had a pretty big feud at the end of the season(with to be fair Dan Harmon being a pretty big douche about it too), and knowing TV/Movie executives have instincts that are at a 180 to good business sense they thought it would be better to keep the washed up legendary comedian that hasn't been funny or successful in a few decades than the guy that actually made them a culturally relevant if not outrageously successful show. Which is fucked cause of those in the cast to lose, Pierce is pretty much neck and neck with Chang of being dead weight on the show. They don't even need to replace him, the rest of the study group can more than hold up the weight of the show.

I've been working on a vertical auto-harvesting farm design for the new city. I'd like one of the corner plots if that's okay.

Done!  Crowskie, how about spot # 3?  That gives you the three corner plots in the north east quadrant.  There are address markers on the plots in that quad - yours will be 3A, 3B, and 3C - I know it's not very fancy, but it should reduce confusion.  We're still going to name the streets, so suggestions are welcome.  One of the streets had already been named Atheist Avenue.  I'd also like to name the canals.

I've built a series of tunnels that links the spawn point on Nemoris to the City - well, almost.  The last tunnel comes out behind Zytherans' Kitty Kabin.  The city is in a straight line from the tunnel exit - just loop to the left a bit and you'll see it.  Remember,  don't bring anything in from Nemoris Crux.

I've set up some jungle tree farms opposite the apple wood farms.  Jungle tree farming seems to be more efficient - just remember to let the leaves decay naturally so that you get enough saplings to replant - 4 saplings need to be planted per tree.

Once I finish the south east quadrant I'm going to finish the canal system and the outer wall/fence.  I'm going to leave the rest of the western quads unfinished until we get more residents - I'm a bit burned out on building and demand seems to be low at this point.

On another note, yesterday I spent several hours playing the Black Desert CTM map.  The map is old (over a year) and for some reason laggy as hell - something may have gone wrong in the Anvil conversion idk, and the lighting is being calculated irrespective of something being in shade or not - i.e. if it is day time then it is light everywhere - even caves!  Kinda makes the map stupid easy, but I guess it compensates a bit for the lag.  What I'm getting at is, is anyone else interested in running another challenge map?  It's more fun in a group, and Beastnode has a voip service that comes free with our hosting package.  Does it sound like fun?  (not Black Desert though, the map is too buggy which makes me a sad penguin).

I've been thinking about starting some construction, I just haven't figured out what to build.

As of this post:

1 = free spot
2 = free spot
3 = Crowskie
4 = free spot
5 = Meeyola

Spots 6 through 10 are not too far from completion.  I've given up on my playthrough of the Black Desert CTM map - it keeps freezing up, though I am glad I was able to look around a bit.  So I'd say that in a week or so the next five spots will be open.

I'll grab spot #2. I think spot #1 should be left for any of the Rogues if they ever turn up. It's very unlikely they will but the thought is there.

If we reserve No 1, can I reserve No. 10?

Also, how generous is Loki with regards to requests? I'll need a LOT of smooth sandstone for the skyscraper I'm planning and it would take ages to mine and craft a decent amount.

Loki has been ponying up a few thousand of required building materials for the basic structure as long as it's reasonable.

Assuming it hasn't been claimed outside of this thread, I'll lay stake to #4.

Current status of Skeptiville:

1 = free spot
2 = free spot
3 = Crowskie
4 = Anarchist Bunny
5 = Meeyola

A few stacks of glowstone from Loki would go a long way towards lighting up the south east quadrant :)
