Marinating some chicken breasts in lemon, oregano, salt, garlic,  paprika, dash of Tobasco sauce, onions, and cheap white wine. I'll probably serve it with some boiled cabbage and rice. Hopefully it doesn't rain so I can grill, if not I'll just have to settle for baking it.

Just made my first homemade/homegrown/homekilled sausages.  Can't wait for tea.

Moroccan meatloaf. Some sort of Asian coleslaw. Apple walnut gorgonzola tart. All are leftovers from last night.

Added a bag of broccoli to Trader Joe's orange chicken and served with hot rice.  Simple but yummy.  Tomorrow I'm cooking my first ham (nervous!) and potato salad.

I took off work tomorrow and walked from my office in VA all up in Georgetown and foggy bottom in DC and settled on a creole joint aptly named the bayou. It was/is a gorgeous day for sitting outside and people watching.

fried chicken breast with mashed tators and green beans covered in creole/mustard sauce. OMG yummy!

Steamed green beans.  Rockfish marinated in salsa verde, lime zest and jalapeno.  Smothered in creme fraiche and homemade salsa.  tiny bit of mexican rice.  All from scratch.

Tamarind margarita with a chipotle chili and sugar rim.  Fucking tasty as fuck.  I win.

Last night had dinner at my parent’s house and my dad cooked on the grill pork chops, corn on the cob and baked potatoes. Simple but yummy.

Probably grilled brats, corn, bread with that tomato stuff that is kind of like salsa but has olive oil and I can't think of the name of right now.

Finally stopped being lazy about the sausage part... and I got a new meat grinder for my 60th.
