Dropbox
« on: February 02, 2012, 11:43:31 AM »
If anyone wants to sign up for Dropbox, a free online storage and folder sharing service, please let us know and send us the e-mail address you want to use for the account. If we invite you to join Dropbox we (and you) get free extra storage space.

SGU and SBM need extra storage space so you will help us out by letting us invite you to Dropbox. And - it is a really great service you might want to know about in any case.

Thanks,

Steve

Sure thing!  Even if I never use it I would love to do anything that can help you out :).  How do you want to handle this?

Hi Steve. Sign up for the beta (currently at http://forums.dropbox.com/topic.php?id=53544&replies=348) and by uploading some photos you can get up to 5Gb extra on top of whatever you get through referrals.....

Cheers

But how long will it be before Dropbox is closed down by the MAFIAA on the grounds that people could possibly be storing copyrighted material, just as recently happened to MegaUpload?

Dropbox is pretty great online upload, storage and sharing. I'm already signed up though, so I don't think I can offer extra space.

I too have been using this great service for over a year now, otherwise I would definitely sign up.
