There is only one thing I don't hate about SP@R: his name shortens to SP@R. I hope he gets banned.

I hope he gets banned.

Doubtless, he'll go right back to his habits as soon as his posting privileges are reinstated.

There is a "warning track" of about two days where he can create posts, but those posts will need moderator approval before they are seen by the general membership.  Obviously any of those posts which exhibit the same tone as the ones which got him suspended will not get approved.

And then if he gets more warnings, he'll just instantly pop back into the Muted zone again and will have to wait until that evaporates too.  I like this system a lot.  It's so easy on the mods.

So you literally don't have to do anything?  Reports against the poster accrue, and you just get a notification when they get suspended?

I think it's based on Mod warnings, not user reports.

Just because you report someone, it doesn't mean they are going to get a warning, and you don't have to be reported to get a warning.  It seems like there is a misconceptions that there is causation, when really it's only a loose correlation.

I thought he was awesome.

Was?  He's coming back you know.  Well, I assume he is at any rate.

Awesome is always coming back.
