Opt out of subforums?

Is there some way to opt out of viewing subforums, or do I just need better discipline?

Haha Karyn, I kind of agree.  But there's no way to set a board to be ignored by default.  I just checked.

And I can still see them.  Another forum I'm on when you opt-out you can't see the forums at all.  Must.have.self.control.
