Yup, you got it.  Really cool game too.  Contributed a lot of innovations to the 3rd person genre like cover fire and such.  Sadly, it wasn't widely played, but it was widely remembered well by those who did.

Eh, I'm not entirely sold on the cover thing, to be honest. The games that do it well become quite static as a result of it, and the games that do it badly are far more numerous.

Well, at the time it was completely new and well done.  It'd probably feel pretty dated if I picked it up now, but then it was a really neat experience and a heck of a lot of fun.
