And here's a visit to my basement lair/workshop.
Tile storage, looking remarkably tidy.
Why yes, I do sometimes watch Law & Order (or baseball) while working. Through the window in the upper left I can sometimes see the feet of people walking by. Please don't ever hunker down and wave at me if you're in the neighborhood; I'd probably keel right over.
You'll see that I have resisted the temptation to tile the gas meter. The black things on the shelves are trays from frozen dinners; they're great for mixing grout. The spinning paint rack on the left is meant to stand up, but with the lack of clear horizontal space, it's hanging from a hook.
Brushes, sticks, paint, etc. That desk lamp is from the Sally Ann--its gooseneck was so ineffective that I had to bucky it up with a splint made from gaff tape and a scrap piece of quarter-round.
Box in progress.
Here's that box completed, bee-tee-dubs.
Sgt. Max Greevey sometimes supervises from the comfort of the clean laundry at the other end of the basement.
