Topic: Beleth can I get some insight please?

I am really confused by the moderation of this post http://sguforums.com/index.php/topic,39001.0.html  and would like some insight on how decisions are made about when to use the mod-box and such.  At least three members use name calling in their posts and there is quite a bit of bad language.  However, Andrew is the only person who got publicly called on it.  Were the others PM'd?  I'm honestly not questioning your moderation but just wishing to understand.  I know that Andrew's tone was very trolly, his use of caps lock annoying, and his use of irony off the mark and I understand why he got the mod-box but I don't understand why some others didn't. 

I know this might sound whiny or defensive but honestly just curious.

Funda,you've got kids; ever hear them yelling in another room so loudly that you get up, go to the other room, and just say "HEY! Simmer down!"?  And they do, and then you leave them alone to work out their issues in a civilized manner?

Well, that's what I did there.

I picked on Andrew because he was being the loudest, and IMO at first glance contributing the least.

I can't tell you whether the others were PM'd.  I don't discuss PMs or warnings I send with other members.
