Maybe this falls under the category of "Guilty Pleasure Music" but there are have been a few bands out there which I either loathe or otherwise am not a fan of, but which have some songs here or there that I actually dig.  Godsmack's a good example of this; I really find all their music repetative and hard to listen to, but there is at least one regular album song I like a lot and a few acoutic versions of their songs I really like too:

I heartily dislike Alabama and all their cheese 'n' corn, but dang derned if "Old Flame" isn't just a really good country song.  Also "Cheap Seats."

It's even more fun when it's a song from an entire genre you don't like!  Not a country fan myself, but there've been some songs here and there I don't mind too much.  The only other whole genre I tend to write off it Gospel.  The hypocrisy inherent in those groups is mind-boggling *cough* Kirk Franklin *cough*.

To differentiate this list from guilty pleasure songs, I am only going to name songs from bands that were not one hit wonders and who I actually tried to get into at some point. 

"A Day in the Life", The Beatles.
"The Glass Prison", Dream Theater
"Joe's Garage", Frank Zappa
"Minor Swing" Mattias IA Eklundh 

All very talented artists, but their music does not click with me.

do you want it to be 'bands you dislike' or just bands you 'don't like'?

e.g., I like "You Spin Me Right Round" by Dead or Alive -- but I've never heard a second song by them, so I wouldn't say I dislike them. on the other hand, I dislike most of Marc Almond's music, a few songs are ok, and I dig "Gone But Not Forgotten" and his cover "So Long the Path"

I can't stand wimpy-ass faux-country band Rascal Flatts (or their unbearably stupid name), but in the car this past week, I heard again their first single, a promise left unfulfilled.  "Prayin' for Daylight" is not bad.

Totally dig that song by Charlie Daniels.  Heard other stuff of his, and I could care less.....

I really dislike Dave Matthews, but my wife has a live album of him and Tim Reynolds, "Live At Luther College", that's actually a really good album.   Weird, because I don't like any of his studio records, and his other live stuff does nothing for me.  Something about that record.....it's sorta like how I don't really care for Bob Seger's studio albums at all, but "Live Bullet" is one of my favorite live records...a musician and band hitting on all cylinders....
