Rebecca Watson on the JV Club
« on: February 19, 2015, 07:14:13 PM »
Rebecca Watson is this week's guest on Janet Varney's podcast "The JV Club" which I love. It kinda surprised me because she's not the typical JV club guest (usually comedians, writers and actresses) and it's not a skeptical or feminist podcast (though the majority of guests are female).
Anyway, it's an interesting podcast that deals mostly about growing up and finding your way early in life, and Rebecca does talk about a lot of personal things I never heard her bring up before (Janet has a way about her that gets people to really open up).
Anyway, it's a good listen if you wanna hear a little more about Rebecca's past and her path of personal development.

Her "2 stomaches" story was funny. :D

It's worth exactly what people are willing to pay for it.  For me, that's $0 (I have not, nor do I expect to, run out of free content).  For others, that's a buck or two a month.

Interesting episode. She was pretty funny. She does seem like she's still on something of a journey, trying to find the right career, belief structure, companion.

When I first found her channel I watched all the back episode and liked them so I decide to throw her a buck an episode (which is only like 65p for me).  But as time went on, I was less and less impressed with the new content.  So, while I hope she continues to produce content and gets better at it, I have stopped supporting her financially.  For now.
