I've stopped watching the trailers for this film now. I reckon by the time the actual film comes out, you'd be able to piece together a good chunk of the film just from all the trailers.

Yes, I want to watch the film. No, I don't want to know every single plot twist before I buy my popcorn.

It's a real shame that Jerry Goldsmith is dead.  I'd love to hear his score for this....

His "Alien" score is one of the best pieces of music ever paired with a film IMO...the trailers sound like they're trying to evoke him a bit.

Finally, that's definitely a prequel, but a bit inconsistent with the 1st Alien: instead of dying in the earthlings' facility, it would have been logical to see the humanoid go back to his spaceship to try to start again, sit in the space jockey equipment and only then, die of chest-busting just like the team of Alien 1 found him, and in such a way that the newborn xenomorph could lay his eggs in the spaceship where they found them. The mystical part of that movie was quite annoying. "That's what I choose to believe" lol. Let's accept for 2 hours that 'ancient astronauts' is not baloney, but their dna totally matching with humans' that THEY have engineered... Hellooo? Then they engineered themeselves by the same logic, how the f**k did they? I watched a dubbed version, but did David really say "that's why it's called a theory"? The plot holes and general woo ruined it for me. I was a huge fan of the first movie, I'm disappointed, DISAPPOINTED.

I was really looking forward to this movie but this is starting to worry me.
Sure I will enjoy the movie on a visual level and the Michael Fassbender character looks interesting.
But when any of the Erich von Däniken related crap comes up I just might throw a little up in my mouth.

I can't believe this ancient astro crap is still around. One of the AVPs (or both???) went all out von Däniken with the Predators being our ancient astro masters. BUT C'MON! Enough!

I treat sci fi flicks like an umpire treats a batter. Three strikes. 1 strike already for this von Däniken BULLSHIT. That Weyland TED piece of shit is a foul (if it winds up in the movie, that's strike two).

What am I missing? David commercial was brilliant. But anything they do with the Space Jockey is going to be shit. I just know it is. It's gonna be bad. I've got a bad feeling about this.
