It has 500 people and is a tourist trap on Feb 14th. They recieve 1000s of letters from around the world.
Mostly because the post mistress actually puts a special stamp on the cards.
So I guess this is a FACT.

FACT.  This rural farming village of about 500 people is also overrun with lovers for its 10-day St. Valentine's celebration of love, Le Festival de la Saint-Valentin.

Awww.  There are also a number of American (USian, for GI) communities, like Loveland, Ohio, whose post offices get seasonally deluged as Morvis describes.
