(click to show/hide)That one looks even more like the Death Star than the one I was thinking, Iapetus (or Japetus - depicted below). But, as someone mentioned, pretty much any moon will obviously resemble a spaceship that was apparently designed to look like an ordinary moon.

Hey now, my self-esteem is already in the pits these days! And I was just thinking about how many "regulars" have wandered off, and people who seemed enthusiastic about the game have disappeared. I suppose I shouldn't take that personally.

There are the odd occasional days where it's difficult for me to find the time to access the forum, then I remember I have to answer today's Fact or Crap. Then I find a few minutes to at least find this thread. So, hush. This game is Awesome. Thank you for running it.
AQB24712:
Thank you for the kind words, guys. I've been feeling kind of in a rut and taken for granted lately. I think it happens at the beginning and the end of the school year/semester.
Also, I have taken ANOTHER day off from work! Unprecedented! (Going to a mid-morning baseball game.)

really made me laugh, for some reason.
FACT. Mimas is the largest of Saturn's 62 moons and the biggest in our solar system. And yes, from some angles, it does resemble the Death Star from the film Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.
I refer you to unixTechie's excellent illustration. (Surely, uT, you understand that I am now hesitant to click on any spoilers you post. :P )
All right, the same calendar writers who were drunk enough to write that thing about bocce and guns and fireworks must've written this one.
Tuesday, May 22: Alexander Graham Bell invented daylight saving time because he liked to tinker early in the morning. [Not a euphemism.] Fact or Crap?
DK:
I think I'll go with Crap on this one.
